How to Manage Time Efficiently

For great productivity, you need to have great time-management skills. Here are 10 ways you can efficiently manage your time.

First things First

If you have an important task to do, make sure it’s the first task you take up in your day. Accomplishing those will give you momentum to get through tasks for the rest of the day.

The 80/20 rule

This rule states that 80% of the efforts comes from 20 percent of the results. In sales, it also means that 80 percent of the sales come from 20 percent of the customers. The trick? Identify the 20 percent of the efforts that are producing 80 percent of the results and scale that out. You can do this with meticulous tracking and analysis.

Find a good time-management system

Getting everything together manually can be exhausting, so invest in a time-management system that makes life easier for you. For example, Mexyon’s product; Skedwise, keeps your business in-check with its schedule, finance and marketing, staff and customers all managed in one easy-to-use software!

Goals

Don’t wait till you get home. As soon as you have a new idea or task, set a goal there and then. This is will help you keep in mind all the tasks you have and how you can divide them throughout the week.

Notifications off

Our team has a habit of checking their e-mails first thing in the morning and then keeping it aside till a certain time so that they are not constantly distracted while they begin to do other tasks. Doing the same with your social media helps too!

Take breaks

To be alert, you need to remember to take short breaks to re-charge yourself. Keep your mental, emotional and physical states at peak levels by breaking frequently.
